Lamisil Cream is used to treat fungal infections of the skin including the following tinea infections:• Athlete’s foot - between the toes• Jock itch - groin and inner thigh area• Ringworm - commonly affects arms, legs, trunk or neck• Moccasin-type tinea - sole of the footLamisil Cream can also be used to treat skin infections caused by Candida, a type of yeast.
This cream is pump-administered twice daily to treat the symptoms of athlete’s foot. It should be used mostly for one week. If your symptoms do not improve after taking Lamisil Cream for a few days, see your doctor.
Caution:Do not use tube or pump antibiotic as it has been given to you without your doctor’s advice. You may experience irritation, itching, burning and redness if this medicine is used with antibiotics.
Precautions
This medicine is not indicated for use in pregnant and off-pump people. Lamisil Cream is usually not recommended for use in children below 12 years if you have previously had jock itch of any severity or if you regularly have athlete’s foot. Keep out of reach of children.
Clinicians should be informed if you are allergic to terbinafine or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine (gel, capsule, capsule or tablets). Keep all medicines out of reach of children. Do not give Lamisil Cream to children under 12 years of age.
